September Jacket Athletes of the Month

 Volleyball – Becca Kelley, Senior, Outside Hitter

Becca broke the school record for number a kills in a match in a 5 set match with Frisco Liberty. Becca delivered 40 kills in 79 attempts. The previous record was 28.

Football – Branson Stobaugh, Senior, Linebacker

On the season, Branson has 64 tackles, 7 tackles for loss and 1 interception.  He was the Defensive Player of the Week vs Royse City.  Branson is a quiet worker who does everything asked of him without ever drawing attention to himself.  He works equally hard on and off the field as shown by his great work in the classroom.  He has developed intoa a great senior leader and plays a huge role in our success as a team.

Water Polo (boys) – Peyton Harbin and Kaiden Farrish

Peyton is a big reason as to why we even have a full team.  His recruiting efforts brought the team from 5 to 11 boys on the water polo team.

Kaiden is a freshman who has greatly improved this season.  Kaiden starts every practice ready to learn a new skill and it shows during our matches.

Water Polo (girls) – Brooke Shirley and Bella Lopez

Brooke has led our team in scoring in multiple matches.  She continues to do well and has been a catalyst for getting our team to the finish as district champs!

Bella is a senior that shows great power and grace in the water.  Bella also does a great job of passing her knowledge to other members of the team.
