Rockwall Jacket Athletes of the Month

Each month, the Jacket Backers, Rockwall High School’s Booster Club selects student athletes who are nominated by their coach for Jacket Athlete of the Month.  For the month of October, Brad Binns, Maya White, Addison Goss were each nominated by their coaches and selected as Jacket Athletes of the Month.

Brad Binns, Freshman Swimmer was nominated by Coach David Partenheimer.  He states, “(Brad) is a 9^th grader with the best work ethic.  He’s a workhorse at practice and he is having major time drops at meets.”

 

 

 

 

Maya White, Senior Swimmer for the Jackets was chosen by Coach Partenheimer.  She just committed to Colorado State University Swim Team. “Maya has become a great distance swimmer in the past 2 years.  She will make a major impact on her college team” adds Coach Partenheimer.

 

 

Addison Goss, Sophomore Volleyball player for the District Leading Lady Jackets was selected by her teammates for this honor.  “She has had a great impact on our team’s ability to control the ball and defend” shares Coach Travis Ferguson.  Addison has 67 service points, Serve Receive Average of 2.28 and 72 digs for the undefeated in district volleyball team!

 

 

 

Drew Molck, Senior Safety for the Jackets Football Team.  “In our most recent game against crosstown rival Heath, Drew had 10 tackles, 2 interceptions and 1 pass breakup.  He played a crucial role in the big 38-27 win.  Drew is a great representative for Rockwall Athletics both on and off the field.  Drew leads by example and is one of our most consistent athletes.  He shows up daily with the right attitude and strives to continually improve himself in all areas” states Coach Trey Brooks.
